うちゅうのピクニック(uchu no pikuniku) Desk Mat Sample Update R2-R3

Hello again, I have compiled both rounds 2 and 3 updates together in this post.

 

Round 2

Graphics have been updated! I have included some of your entries from the IC form of the items that you would like to bring for the picnic with Uchu 🧃🍡 (see if yours made it in!)

Deskmat dimensions & bleeding - R2

The "yellow autumn - smooth" is short by 8mm. So instead of 900mm in length it is 892mm. The 3 other variants have correct dimensions.

The artwork has been cropped and I realised that it was due to my oversight as I sent a file without bleeding.

Comparing lightness for "sketchbook" (B&W) variants - R2

  

Comparing the mats from R1, the black turns out to be duller and not as vibrant as R1's print. 

Round 3

Printed samples for 370x160mm & 600x350mm in smooth surface.
They look so cute, I love it! (Personally will use the 370x160mm)
L - 900x400mm | M - 600x350mm | S - 370x160mm

600x350mm deskmat came out in a weird dimension and measured as 610x355mm.

370x160mm came out perfect with the correct dimensions.

Deskmat dimensions & bleeding - R3

The dimensions of the 900x400mm deskmats are still inconsistent.

This print is with bleeding but it still looks cropped. Waiting on response from manu.

 

Comparing lightness for "sketchbook" (B&W) variants - R3

For smooth surface, they seemed to have fixed the black colour and looks as vibrant as R1's print.

For the rough surface, R3 looks duller than R1.

For next update(R4):

1. To change hat lines to solid black.

2. Adjust the graphics placement/sizing for 900x400 to fix the issue of the graphics being too close to the edge stitching. To prevent cropping.

3. Printing: 900x400mm - all 4 variants, smooth, rough, yellow, B&W.

600x350mm - Sketchbook (B&W), smooth - to have 1st sample of this variant, rectify dull black colour & deskmat dimensions.

370x160mm - Sketchbook (B&W), smooth - to have 1st sample of this variant.
