what is a group buy?

a group buy is a method of purchasing where a group of people collectively buys a product. this process is used for items that are custom-made or produced in limited quantities.

what is a pre-order?

pre-ordering offers a limited allocation of our extras from a group buy (gb) or a product already in production. it's a great opportunity to grab a gb item if you missed the initial gb period. please note that these items are not in stock and will ship at the same time as the group buy fulfillment dates.

extras are not always available for every group buy, so it is advised to join the group buy to ensure you secure the product.

what is a raffle sale?

a majority of enthusiasts in the mechanical keyboard community sells artisan keycaps in a raffle sale. there is a limited quantity in the sale of raffle products.

modify/cancel order

group buy orders: modifications and cancellations to gb orders are only possible during the gb period. once the group buy ends, orders cannot be canceled, refunded, or modified.

regular orders: you may modify/ cancel your order if it's within 24hrs after order is placed.

cancellation: a transaction fee will apply: 5% for singapore orders and 9% for international orders.

change shipping address

group buy orders
you can change your shipping address at any time before the group buy reaches the fulfillment stage. typically, before fulfillment begins, we send an email giving customers the opportunity to update their shipping address if necessary. unfortunately, we cannot accommodate address change requests received after this point.

regular orders
you may change your shipping address if your order hasn't been processed yet. additional charges may apply for shipping.

combining in-stock, pre-order, group buy items

the entire order will be shipped based on the item with the latest fulfillment date.

missing/ wrong item

if you are missing an item or have received the wrong item, please get in touch with us.

order processing

group buy orders
fulfillment processing may take up to 2-3 weeks.

regular orders
standard processing time is 2-5 business days. please understand that i operate as a one-person team, so i'll do my best to ship your order promptly. thank you for your patience during this time.

transfer gb order

transferring a group buy order to another person is not allowed. we will ship orders only to the original purchaser. after you receive your order, you may do as you wish with it. please note that we are not responsible for any issues with the product once it has been resold.

i missed the gb

extras are not always available for every group buy, so it's recommended to join the group buy to ensure you secure the product. however, if extras are announced after the group buy, be sure to watch for them. these will be available until they run out of stock.

customs fees & taxes

the full value of orders is declared, and taxes and duties may apply in certain regions. we do not collect taxes or duties. it is the customer's responsibility to handle any taxes, charges, or fees that may be incurred in their destination country.

non-liability for shipments

once your parcel leaves our premises, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delays. factors beyond our control, such as customs procedures, handling by international carriers, or unforeseen events, may impact delivery times.
if your shipment encounters issues, it is your responsibility to pursue claims or seek compensation directly from the shipping carrier. we will provide all necessary shipping documentation and support to assist you in this process.

my parcel got returned

if your parcel is returned, please note that packages refused and sent back to us for any reason will not be automatically reshipped, cancelled, or refunded. additional costs may apply for reshipment.

returns & exchanges

we do not accept any returns/ exchanges for products.

defect/ damage

upon receiving your order, please inspect it promptly and contact us within 7 days if there are any defects or damages. please note that packaging that receives minimal damage during transit is not covered. we encourage buyers to inspect their items carefully within this timeframe. due to the limited availability of certain items, replacements may not always be available; in such cases, refunds may be offered if a solution cannot be found.

refunds

if a refund is issued, it will be processed automatically to your original payment method. please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company.

pbt keycaps

quality and manufacturing process
• keycap manufacturing involves labor-intensive processes, leading to slight variations and tolerances.
• we have stringent quality control procedures but can't guarantee every keycap will be flawless.

legend alignment and warping
• manual dye sublimation may cause slight alignment tolerances.
• warping in longer keycaps can occur due to high temperatures. Guidelines are in place to minimize extreme cases, and an easy fix is available.. watch video

color and dye sublimation
• color discrepancies may occur between renders and actual products due to monitor differences, lighting, and color matching.
• reverse dye sublimation may show slight fading at the bottom, which is normal.

restocking batches
• restocking batches may not have the exact same color as previous rounds.

dust and environment
• keycaps are not produced in a dust-free environment, so slight dust on keycaps and trays is possible.

care instructions
• our keycaps are made from pbt plastic, which is resistant to shine.
• avoid exposure to corrosive liquids to prevent discoloration and staining. 
• for cleaning, remove keycaps, soak them in room temp water with dish detergent, wipe gently, rinse, and air dry before reattaching.

deskmats

acceptable standards
• slight variances in the alignment of borders on deskmats.
• subtle alignment variances are considered acceptable.

care instructions
place in mesh laundry bag, machine cold wash, mild detergent, air dry.

metal artisans

acceptable standards
small air bubbles or inclusions in the enamel.

care instructions
handle with care to maintain the finishing.

resin artisans

handmade variations
all handmade items are art pieces and may include small inclusions, making each item unique.

handling
handle with care. these art pieces are for display purposes only and are not meant for children.

care instructions
• avoid exposure to sunlight & corrosive liquids to prevent discolouration and staining.
• for cleaning, remove keycaps, soak them in room temperature water with dish detergent, wipe gently, rinse, and air dry before reattaching.

counterfeit concerns
if you believe you have received a counterfeit artisan keycap, please contact us.

ceramic products

handmade variations
each tray is handmade, resulting in unique variations and characteristics in each piece.

acceptable standards
• minor imperfections such as slight variations in glaze thickness.
• small air bubbles in the ceramic surface.
• minor asymmetry or irregularities in shape.
• these variations are considered normal and do not affect the functionality or durability of the tray.

handling
• handle with care to avoid chips and cracks. these trays are delicate and should be treated as art pieces.
• usage ideal for decorative purposes or light use.
• not suitable for children.

care instructions
hand wash, avoid using harsh chemicals.

plushie

handling
not intended for pets or children.

acceptable standards
• as the plushie is hand machine-sewn, there may be slight variations in stitching or appearance, which are considered acceptable due to the handmade nature.
• minor stitching irregularities or asymmetry in features.
• slight variations in size or shape.
• small imperfections in fabric or stuffing distribution.
• packaging plushies arrive vacuum-packed for shipping efficiency. allow the plushie some time to fluff up and regain its shape.

fluffing recommendations
upon unpacking, gently shake or pat the plushie. allow the plushie to sit in a well-ventilated area for a few hours. optionally, use a hairdryer on a cool setting or gently brush the plushie to help it regain its fluffy appearance.

care instructions
machine cold/ hand wash, no harsh detergent, air dry.

reusable bag

acceptable standards
• hand machine-sewn; expect slight variations in stitching or appearance, which are characteristic of handmade items.
• graphics printed on ripstop fabric may exhibit slight misalignment due to the printing process.
• some loose threads may be present; customers can carefully trim them off for a neat appearance.
